Go Whale Watching in Juneau
Whale Watching
The tour with the best of both worlds! Our custom-built catamarans are the newest boats on the water and deliver the best of comfort, style, and amenities at our most affordable price. We are proud to bring everything that you know and love about Harv & Marv’s to this larger vessel experience. With the same amount of time on the water and the same highly skilled team guiding you along the way, this tour is perfect for large groups and travelers who want to get out on the water with the price point that larger vessel efficiency provides. Join our experienced captain and crew for an Alaskan whale watching tour like no other. This four-hour tour option includes approximately one hour of roundtrip transfer time, three hours of whale watching/sightseeing cruise, a dedicated stop to view the Mendenhall Glacier from the water, and bathroom breaks.
All tours will stop for a photo opportunity of the Mendenhall Glacier from the water, but views will be highly weather dependent. We will pick you up in our courtesy shuttle near your cruise ship (or a convenient downtown meeting spot) and drive you out to the boat and return you there when we are done with the tour.
This tour allows for you to book your spots ‘per person”, and we will fill the boat up around you! It is an exceptional way to get out on the water and enjoy all the sights and experiences our small boat tours offer at a more affordable price.
Looking for a premium small-group option? Explore our public whale tours for small groups of up to 6 guests.

If your tour time is 9:30 a.m., this is the time we plan for transportation to leave! PLEASE arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the listed tour time, so that we can leave on time!
We would then plan to arrive at the harbor where our boats depart by 10 a.m. When you arrive at the harbor, you will be met by your captain or guide and have an opportunity to use the restroom on land (there is one on the boat, it’s just not as roomy) and then you will head down the dock to board our vessel for your whale watching adventure!
Our three hours of water time include embarking and disembarking. With an extra hour on the water than most tours, there is still ample time to see all the wildlife and landscapes you came to see. Each tour will make a stop to view the Mendenhall Glacier from the water, but exact views are weather dependent.
You will start heading back to the harbor at approximately 12:35 p.m. (depending on where you are) so that you can be disembarking by about 12:55 p.m. to meet your returning transport at 1 p.m.
The shuttle will head back to Downtown Juneau and you will be returned to your pickup location by 1:30 p.m.
